The Montenotte Music Club or Gramaphone Circle as it is traditionally known launched last month. In the past few weeks a large number of residents have had great fun listening to tunes on the traditional radiogram and choosing old favourites to enjoy together.
Festive Cheer at Montenotte

Residents at CareChoice Montenotte celebrated Christmas with family and friends on Saturday December 17th. The whole House hummed with live music on every floor. There was singing, dancing and lots of chatting but the highlight of the day was the festive feast created by the catering team. By the end of the day there was no homemade Christmas cake left!!
Montenotte Residents celebrate positive Ageing Week

Residents from Montenotte have been celebrating Positive Ageing Week in style; the week began with a session at our designated local the Fox and Hounds, they had a baking session with students from Scoil Eanna, a movie on the Big Screen for family and friends and some exciting art events.We are definitely ageing positively at CareChoice!
Montenotte residents visit Kinsale

Residents from CareChoice Montenotte made the most of the fine weather today and visited Kinsale. After some time browsing the shops and admiring the views they enjoyed lunch at Actons Hotel. Fingers crossed for a few more fine days!

Movie Magic at Montenotte

CareChoice residents recently went to the Reel Picture Cinema in Blackpool to a screening of The Guard starring Brendan Glesson. With many laughs from the film and tasty popcorn the evening was a great success!

Residents from CareChoice Montenotte recently visited the newly refurbished restaurant at Blarney Woollen Mills. After a lovely afternoon shopping and a quick drink in the bar we enjoying the home baking in the restaurant.
Mobile Farm Ireland visits CareChoice Montenotte

Last Saturday the carpark of CareChoice Montenotte was transformed into a farmyard with the visit of Mobile Farm Ireland to the Home. Residents met cows, pigs, geese, hens, a calf and two pet lambs. Despite the friendly nature of the larger animals the real showstoppers on the day were three little ducklings only seven days old!
Ocean's Six at CareChoice Ballynoe

The sitting room at CareChoice Ballynoe rang out with the sound of swing on Saturday April 9th. Ocean's Six played a wonderful set including tunes from Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Nat King Cole. The saxaphone player was a particular favourite and he treated residents staff and visitors to a fabulous soulful solo!
Shop 'til you drop at CareChoice Montenotte!

The Edinburgh Woollen Mills opened a shop at CareChoice Montenotte on Sunday April 3rd. The staff arrived with a large selection of cardigans, twin sets, blouses and spring fashions and the ladies of Montenotte had a wonderful afternoon browsing.
