Additional services – Village Assist

We want to assist you to live independently by providing you with a choice of support services that you can avail of regularly or on a once-off basis as required for an additional cost.

1. Meals – Breakfast / Lunch & Tea
 Meals can be taken in the Nursing Home Dining Room or delivered to your House / Apartment. You can choose to have one or more meals each day, several days per week or just when you don’t feel like cooking or haven’t had time to shop.

2. Assistance with personal care
This service is ideal if you need some help with dressing and showering and is in addition to any Homehelp service provided by the HSE.

3. Housekeeping
Housekeepers will provide a cleaning and laundry service in your own house/apartment charged on an hourly basis.

4. Laundry
Our in-house laundry offers a weekly linen service.

5. HairChoice Hair Salon
Our on-site hairdresser will take care of your hairdressing needs and is open for appointments one day per week.

6. Specific Recreation Events e.g. Group Outings
These are organised by our CareChoice Recreation Team and take place from time to time throughout the year. [link to recreation page]

7. Physiotherapy & Chiropody
Regular visits to the physiotherapist and chiropodist can be arranged on site by appointment.

8. Pharmacy Delivery
Our local pharmacies will deliver your medical needs directly to your door on weekdays.

9. Local Supermarket Delivery Service
Our local supermarkets will deliver your shopping directly to your door.
